Office of General Services (OGS) Commissioner RoAnn Destito today announced that WV Pizza is opening inside the Empire State Plaza’s Swan Street Building Café. In advance of its official opening, WV Pizza will be handing out free samples from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, March 1 while supplies last.

 

“We are pleased to welcome WV Pizza to the Empire State Plaza and to have them join the amazing and diverse group of food vendors already here at the Plaza,” Commissioner Destito said. “Everyone loves having choices, and WV is giving us plenty with opportunities to grab some pizza, a salad, or one of several Mediterranean dishes they are serving up.” 

 

Starting on Monday, March 4, WV Pizza will be open for breakfast and lunch and will feature regular and gluten-free fresh pizza and personal-size specialty pizzas with several toppings available. WV will also serve hot and cold appetizers, pasta, wings, gyros, salads, Mediterranean dishes, as well as desserts, take-home dinners, and weekly chef specials, including a “Let’s Get More Omega 3” fish special on Fridays.

 

WV Pizza will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. It is located in the Swan Street Building Café on floor 3B, which can be accessed from the Plaza’s concourse level by a pedestrian tunnel near the entrance to Agency Building 4.

 

“We are so excited to be serving the people who visit and work at the Empire State Plaza at our new location in the Swan Street Building Café,” said WV Pizza owner Resul Yalcin. “I want to thank OGS for working with us to open WV Pizza and invite everyone to visit us this Friday to sample some of the delicious items we will be making in our kitchen.”
